I asked Microsoft and it was a nightmare. When I connected through RDP to my Skype at work, it used to work fine but recently I had accidentally erased some files from my local user folder on my home PC and now I couldnt connect to my Skype at work through RDP - it always said I didnt have audio setup on my office PC but I did.
SKYPE FOR BUSINESS MAC NOT PICKING UP MICROPHONE HOW TO
I'm suspicious that it has something to do with the Boot Camp control panel, but I can't figure out what, and I may be wrong.Ĭan I please have step-by-step instructions on how to fix this? My Skype for Business works fine when I am in office physically. I know some features are unavailable without paying for the code, but I've seen no indication of this. One thing worth noting is that I didn't put in a Windows 10 code-just installed it without. I tried updating random drivers, but I don't see how that would have helped, and it really didn't. I tried showing disabled and disconnected devices, and it still did not show. There was only 'Line-in (Disconnected)' and 'Digital Audio', with no spot for my Apple Earbuds. Skype Microphone not working problem can be also cause.

Upon investigating, I opened up the 'Manage Audio Devices' tab, and found the microphone didn't even show up in the inputs tab. Then set your Microphone device and un-tick Automatically adjust microphone settings. I tried using different microphones, but to no avail. Everything worked fine, except when using Skype, I found that the microphone for input is not working. I recently installed Windows 10 on my Mac Mini using Boot Camp.
